Subaru of America Records Record September Sales

As Subaru of America drives through October, it does so off of the momentum from a record September. According to media.subaru.com, "Subaru of America, Inc. ... reported 55,120 vehicle sales for September 2017, a 0.4 percent increase over September 2016." This is the 70th consecutive month that has recorded percentage increase, and the 43rd consecutive month where over 40,000 Subaru vehicles were sold.

Out of the total 55,120 Subaru vehicles sold, the Impreza and the Crosstrek stood out from the rest of the fleet, each recording their best September ever. The Subaru Crosstrek sold 12,491 vehicles, recording a 51.2-percent increase from September 2016, and the Subaru Impreza sold 6,324 vehicles, recording a 32.1-percent increase from September 2016. But the Subaru Outback sold the most vehicles this month, 16,330. That number added to the Outback's 140,491 sold vehicles this year, recording an 11.6-percent increase in year-to-date sales.
